Prospectiva Resources is a Brazil-focused copper and gold exploration company advancing a district-scale portfolio of 100%-owned projects across the highly prospective but underexplored Borborema Province in northeastern Brazil. The Company’s land package comprises 35 mineral exploration licences covering approximately 335km² across the states of Pernambuco and Paraíba with current focus on its flagship São Francisco Copper-Gold Project.
Management Profile:
Dan James, CEO Dan is an exploration geologist with over 25 years’ experience. He was previously Co-founder and COO of a private equity fund and President of Medgold Resources Corp. He has extensive copper and gold exploration experience across South America, Europe, North America and Africa.
What are your key goals for the next 3 months?:
Complete the maiden 2,500m diamond drilling programme at São Francisco and deliver the first results to the market. The immediate objective is to test the priority SF1 and SF2 targets, confirm the geological interpretation and establish the nature, grade and continuity of copper-gold mineralisation. Results from drilling, supported by DHEM and ongoing geological interpretation, will provide the foundation for defining the next phase of exploration. Alongside the programme, Prospectiva will maintain regular investor engagement and communicate results as they are received, building awareness of the São Francisco opportunity and the wider exploration portfolio.
What are your key goals for the next 6 months?:
Use the results of the maiden programme to determine the scale and continuity of the São Francisco mineralised system and establish clear priorities for follow-up exploration. The Company’s objective is to convert the initial discoveries and geophysical targets into a more defined exploration opportunity, with further drilling focused on the highest-priority zones. At the same time, Prospectiva will progress exploration across its wider Brazilian portfolio, including its regional gold targets. Together, these activities are intended to generate a sustained pipeline of exploration results and demonstrate the potential of Prospectiva’s broader land position.
What are your key goals for the next 12 months?:
Over 12 months, Prospectiva aims to move São Francisco from an early-stage discovery towards a more advanced exploration project, supported by systematic drilling, geological interpretation and target generation. The Company will seek to establish sufficient understanding of the mineralised system to support future resource-definition work, while continuing to test additional targets across the project. Exploration of the wider copper-gold and gold portfolio will continue in parallel, providing additional opportunities for discovery. The objective is to demonstrate the scale and potential of Prospectiva’s assets and establish a clear pipeline of exploration-led value drivers for shareholders.
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?:
Prospectiva offers investors exposure to a high-grade copper-gold discovery opportunity within a 100%-owned, 335km² land package in Brazil’s proven but underexplored Borborema Belt. At its flagship São Francisco project, historical drilling has confirmed high-grade, near-surface copper-gold mineralisation, while recent exploration has expanded the prospective trend to approximately 3km and identified multiple untested targets. With a fully funded 2,500m drill programme now underway, the Company has a clear near-term programme of catalysts, alongside a pipeline of regional gold opportunities. The combination of established mineralisation, significant exploration upside, full ownership and an experienced team provides multiple avenues for value creation through discovery and resource definition.
