Silver North has made significant new silver discoveries in the famous Keno Hill Silver District of the Yukon, including Silver North’s Haldane Project, where high grade silver has been identified in drilling at two target areas. The Company also holds the Tim silver property in southern Yukon, where partner-funded exploration has identified high-grade silver mineralization just 19 km from the Silvertip mine.

Silver North is ideally positioned to further prove out and expand these discoveries, at the stage of the mining development curve traditionally associated with the largest value increases for shareholders.

 

Management Profile:

Jason Weber, P.Geo – President & Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Weber is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in the minerals exploration industry. Prior to Silver North, Jason held the position of President and CEO of Kiska Metals Corporation, a junior exploration company focused on the exploration and development of the Whistler gold-copper porphyry project in Alaska. Mr. Weber was President and CEO of Rimfire Minerals Corporation from 2007 to 2009 when Rimfire merged with Geoinformatics to create Kiska. He initially joined Rimfire in 1999 as Manager of Corporate Communications after working as a consulting project geologist with Equity Engineering in Canada, USA and Central America. Mr. Weber has served as a Director and advisor to numerous junior exploration companies.

Rob Duncan, M.Sc. – VP Exploration

Mr. Duncan has over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration with a wide range of companies, from major producers such as Rio Tinto and Inmet Mining to junior explorers. He has held senior management positions at several junior explorers exploring throughout the North American Cordillera, Canadian Shield and Eastern Europe on a wide variety of deposit types including orogenic gold, porphyry copper (gold), VMS, intrusion related gold, and epithermal gold-silver systems. He also has over ten years of management experience specifically with prospect generator companies, having held the position of Exploration Manager at Rimfire Minerals and VP Exploration and Project Development at Evrim Resources.

Marc G. Blythe, M.B.A, P.Eng. – Director

Marc Blythe has a Master of Business Administration from La Trobe University in Melbourne and a Bachelor of Mining Engineering degree from the Western Australian School of Mines. Mr. Blythe was Vice President, Mining of Almaden Minerals Ltd from 2006 to 2011 and President & CEO of Tarsis Resources Ltd. He was also the Vice President of Corporate Development at Nevsun Resources Ltd.

Prior to that he was Corporate Senior Mining Engineer for Placer Dome Inc. based in Vancouver from 2004 until 2006, where he completed internal and external mine evaluation, including advising on potential acquisitions and mining technology implementation.

Prior to this, he managed mines in Kalgoorlie, Australia for Placer Dome. Mr. Blythe has a strong understanding of mine feasibility and led two feasibility studies which resulted in successful operating mines; Raleigh Mine and Bullant Mine, both located in Kalgoorlie, Australia and owned by Barrick Gold Corp. The Raleigh Mine exceeded its projected production rate, in part due to the development of a novel mining method by Mr. Blythe.

Mr. Blythe holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency and has managed mines for both Placer Dome and WMC Resources (formerly Western Mining Corporation).

Mr. Blythe is a third generation prospector.

Craig Lindsay, CFA – Director

Mr. Lindsay has in excess of 25 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking and business development. His focus has been on mineral resources in the western United States. He was the Founder, President and CEO of Otis Gold Corp. until its sale to Excellon Resources Inc. (TSX) in 2020 and is currently the Managing Director of Arbutus Grove Capital Corp., a private company offering corporate finance and merchant banking services. Mr. Lindsay was a Founder and President of Magnum Uranium Corp. until its merger with Energy Fuels Inc.(TSX: EFR in June 2009). As well, Mr. Lindsay was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Lindsay was Founder of Malaspina Capital Ltd., a junior capital pool company, and was responsible for identifying its merger with Miranda Mining Corp (a Mexican-based gold producer that was subsequently acquired by Wheaton River Minerals).

Nancy Curry – Director

Ms. Curry is the Vice President of Corporate Development of Kodiak Copper Corp. Having worked in senior management positions with several mineral and development companies for over 25 years. Nancy is committed to bringing industry recognized best practices to shareholder and stakeholder communications. Her career began in the financial services industry specializing in futures trading before focusing on mineral exploration. An exploration stage advocate, Nancy was nominated twice for Best Investor Relations by a TSX Venture Exchange Company by IR Magazine.

Nancy believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered her time to many local community organizations. Co-founding an annual Christmas Toy Drive supported by the local mining industry before becoming a founding director of Global Change for Children (www.gc4c.org). A foundation registered in 2009 by a group of women primarily from the mineral exploration industry in Vancouver, B.C.

Mark T. Brown, CA-CPA – Executive Chair

Mark Brown obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993 while working with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver B.C., Canada. Mr. Brown has lead the financial aspects of Silver North Resources Ltd. (formerly Alianza Minerals) since 2007, including financing, regulatory and reporting issues. Before Silver North, Mr. Brown was the controller of two operating gold mining companies with operations in northern Canada and South America.

Mr. Brown leads a team of 8 people in the Vancouver office of Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd., a financial consulting and merchant banking firm active in venture capital markets in North America, and also sits on the Board of other public companies.

Winnie Wong, CA-CPA. – Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Wong is the Vice President of Client Services at Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd., a firm the Company has retained to provide financial management and accounting services. Following her graduation from Queen’s University, Ms. Wong worked with Deloitte & Touche where she earned her Chartered Accountant designation. Ms. Wong currently acts as the CFO and Corporate Secretary on a number of TSX Venture Exchange companies and was CFO of Rare Element Resources ($500 million market cap), as well as Animas Resources and AQM Copper.
